How to book your cruise

To book your cruise: 5 key steps.

When you have choosen your houseboat and the region of your cruise, fill in the booking form. Before doing this, contact your reservation center to check availability for the dates of your cruise.

Choose your boat, the region and the dates of your cruise
Contact your reservation centre to check availability
We will send you a quotation that you will have to send us back with a 40% down payment
A booking confirmation will be sent to you, and a captain's handbook where you can find many informations concerning your cruise and a complete inventory withh all equipment on board
The balance should be paid one month before departure.

Rive de France offers many different rental formulas : week-end, mini week, week, one-way, return trip, as well as many cruise possibilities. Do not hesitate to ask!

Booking confirmation

On receipt of your downpayment and booking form, we send you a booking confirmation which is valid as a rental contract. The balance should be paid 1 month before departure. You will receive an invoice with the amount. If you choose a one-way cruise, we give you the telephone number of the base to confirm (mandatory) which way you cruise (upstream or downstream). This must be done 1 week before departure.

Cancellation plan

Rive de France suggests an optional cancellation plan to which you can subscribe up to 8 weeks before departure.

Cruise pack

Waiver insurance guaranteeing the damage to the boat (hull and superstructure) you are responsible. One fender is included in this cruise pack. Please see the general conditions on the last page of this booking form.
